Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are delighted to invite and welcome you to the International Conference on Excited States of Transition Elements (ESTE2025), taking place from August 24 to 29, 2025, near Wrocław, Poland.
ESTE2025 continues the proud tradition of conferences that began at Książ Castle in 1988 and has since been held in picturesque locations such as Karpacz, Kudowa Zdrój, Polanica Zdrój, Duszniki Zdrój, Szklarska Poręba, Lądek Zdrój, Piechowice, and Świeradów Zdrój. This year, we are excited to bring together both long-standing and new members of the spectroscopy community to share knowledge and foster collaboration.
The conference will focus on all aspects of luminescence and luminescent materials, covering cutting-edge fabrication technologies, innovative techniques, and studies of optical properties in materials such as single crystals, powders, sintered ceramics, nanostructures, glasses, and amorphous systems. Presentations will showcase the latest advancements in both fundamental and applied research, offering a comprehensive overview of the state of the art in this dynamic field.
We are confident that ESTE2025 will continue the tradition of vibrant discussions and the presentation of groundbreaking results. As always, this conference is designed to provide a seamless experience: plan your trip to the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Wrocław, and we’ll take care of the rest.
